Speakers:  Dallas Otter & Kyle Russell

Join Dallas Otter & Kyle Russell of Heffernan Financial Services, as they present Payroll Partnerships for 401K.  This informative session will address: Payroll Integration, 3(16) Services, and recap upcoming 2026 Secure 2.0 changes.

Dallas Otter is the Executive Vice President of Heffernan Financials’ Seattle office. He has over 35 years of experience in the retirement plan consulting industry, and provides fiduciary governance guidance to investment committees, employee education, cost benchmarking, and service provider search services.

Mr. Otter grew up in southern California and headed north to Seattle to work with a retirement plan record-keeper that was developing new business. After about a year, Dallas continued his northern migration and was given the opportunity to open an Anchorage, Alaska office. After eight long Alaska winters, and developing a profitable enterprise, Dallas headed back to the Seattle office to be close to his wife's family. At that point, Dallas expanded his skillset where he provided fiduciary guidance and consulting to corporate retirement plan sponsors. Over the next 28 years, he used his combined knowledge of the retirement plan compliance and regulatory world to develop a book of retirement plan clients.

Kyle Russell, Assistant Vice President, is a Financial Advisor and Retirement Plan Specialist with Heffernan Financials’ Seattle office.  Kyle thrives on building relationships with companies that want to maintain meaningful retirement plan strategies for their organizations.

Kyle has over 25+ years of consulting and sales experience with a primary focus on retirement plans and employee education.  Prior to consulting, he worked on the Plan Sponsor side of the house focusing on all aspects of Human Resources, while earning his Certification in HR Management from the University of Washington.

Outside of his professional life, Kyle is an avid sports fan and outdoorsy guy that enjoys all aspects of what the Pacific Northwest has to offer.  He is most happy spending time with his wife and two kids, whether it be traveling, taking in sporting events or adventuring and relaxing at their cabin near Leavenworth WA
